NEPSE Breaks 2000 Resistance to Close 2.88% Up; Last Trading Day of 2022

The NEPSE index closed at 2,029.03 today after gaining 56.88 points from the last trading day's closing. This is a gain of 2.88%. The index lost 11.81 points yesterday.


The index opened at 1,973.18 and made an intraday low of 1,962.42. It made an intraday high of 2,029.11 and closed at 2,029.03.

257 scrips traded hands via 45,944 transactions. A total of 8,024,559 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 2.860 Arba in turnover amount. This is higher than the last trading day's turnover of Rs. 2.15 Arba.

Himalayan Distillery Limited (HDL) had the highest turnover of Rs. 12.14 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 4,006 per share. The shares of Himal Dolakha Hydropower Company Limited (HDHPC) traded the most.


All sector indices closed green, "Finance" gained the highest 5.38% while "Mutual Fund" gained the least 1.41% today.
